The International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia – 2018

Marking the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia CSGD and CEL LGBTI organizations held an exhibition in the main square “Nëna Tereza” in Prishtina. Exhibiton highlighted hate speech comments against LGBTI individuals on last year Pride parade on social media.

The idea behind this activity was to show that homophobia is still present in Kosovo. The overall idea and the confusion in kosovar society on why there is a need of LGBTI individuals to come out or have Pride parades publicly is an answer by this particular exhibition with screenshot of 16 pictures with hate speech comment display.
